Despite holding more data about our planet than ever before, we have never been so disconnected from it. From this place of dissonance, how can we chart the labyrinthine present? Geographer is a new platform bringing culture back to the environment. We work across curation, music, and writing to foster new forms of ecological engagement, seeking the imaginative power of artists to help us navigate life on an ever-changing planet. By flattening the knowledge hierarchies that privilege scientific fact over other ways of knowing, we believe art can seed countless unruly environmentalisms to build a movement the size of the world itself.
